Role
Reefer’s B2B interface is designed specifically for pharmacies to simplify the management and distribution of medical cannabis. This platform integrates with existing pharmacy systems, creating a seamless connection between medical systems and the supply chain. It offers tools for inventory management, order processing, and delivery tracking, ensuring that the entire supply chain operates efficiently from a single interface.
01 The Challenge
The primary challenge was to design a B2B interface for pharmacies that seamlessly integrates with existing systems to manage medical cannabis. The goal was to create a unified platform that simplifies inventory management, order processing, and delivery tracking. This required ensuring compatibility with various pharmacy systems while providing an intuitive, efficient user experience to streamline the entire supply chain from a single interface.
02 Problem space
To effectively address the challenges pharmacies face in managing medical cannabis orders and shipments, I analyzed their current processes. Below is an overview of the existing problems and opportunities for improvement:
Order Reception
Current Method:
Pharmacies use WhatsApp for reciving and managing customer orders, leading to manual tracking and potemtial errors.
Delivery Management
External Service:
Deliveries are handled by an external service, which can cause communication and coordination issues, impacting efficiency.
Challenges Identified
Manual Tracking:
Difficulties in tracking order status and maintaining accurate records.
03 Project Goals
The project aims to centralize order management, improve delivery coordination, enhance inventory tracking, and automate patient communication for pharmacies. By integrating with existing systems, it ensures smoother operations and a more efficient workflow.
04 Business Model
Reefer operates on a subscription-based model, where pharmacies pay a recurring fee for access to the platform. Additionally, a small percentage fee is charged per patient order processed through the system. This model ensures ongoing revenue while providing pharmacies with tools to efficiently manage inventory, orders, and deliveries.

Main Dashboard
The main dashboard offers pharmacies a snapshot of key metrics, including total orders, those in picking and packing, and awaiting pickup or delivery. It also features recent orders, a quick view of monthly revenue trends, and top-selling products for streamlined management.
Orders view
The orders screen shows all orders with the ability to filter by status, enabling pharmacies to easily manage and track order progress.
Order Management
This screen allows pharmacies to manage the order by making changes, issuing prescriptions, replacing products, or contacting customers. It supports complete order management from receipt to dispatch.
Order Adjustment Screen
This screen enables pharmacies to adjust product quantities, make necessary changes, and approve the order. It also facilitates prescription issuance, ensuring accurate order fulfillment before dispatch.
